Elly rolls her eyes in despair because evil Richard has evilly taken away her ability to express herself like an adult should.

(Strip Number 4468, Original Publication Date, 31 January 1985)

Panel 1: As Elly babysits, she reminds herself that she's not used to having a two year old around anymore.

Panel 2: When Richard dumps Farley's food bowl on the floor, Elly tells him "No, No, Richard! Dirty! Ucky! No Touch!"

Panel 3: As she and he interact, she says "Want cookie? Nice toys! Drink gone? Go potty!"

Panel 4: She is horrified by the fact that she's returned to the dreaded two-word sentence.

Summary: The odd thing about this is that she's also why Lizzie and Aypo used baby talk longer than was right. She seems not to have known when to stop.
