Panel 1: As our story continues, we find Elly asking a man I'll call Buster Hadfield that she's looking for a grey-and-white sheepdog before asking him if she's seen it.
Panel 2: As a matter of fact, he has indeed seen a dog that looks like that in his travels about five minutes ago and two blocks back of where they are now.
Panel 3: He then tells her that her worries are over because someone was loading her dog into a blue van.
Panel 4: Elly goes into full-on panic mode because as she yells, she doesn't know anybody with a blue van.
Summary: Next week, we have to deal with the after-effects of Farley being packed off to the pound: his being blamed for the Pattersons' neglect and stupidity. Said stupidity manifests itself by Elly not realizing that Farley done got picked up by the dog catcher because her neighbors don't want that shaggy mutt the idiot dentist has roaming around causing mischief but instead firmly believing that thieving dog thieves who steal dogs from nice familiies like her own because they love chaos and hate nice families like hers stole Farley out of a love of chaos and so on and so forth.
