Sort of off-topic but not quite: Calvin's Mom is better than Elly is.....

The interesting thing about all of this mess is that I'm reminded of a Calvin and Hobbes strip in which he comes up to his mom and says that he wants to buy a Satan-worshipping, suicide advocating record album. What his mom does is tell him that since none of the bands in question have offed themselves, they're just a bunch of hucksters trying to outrage people for profit. Compare that with the crazy crap Elly is pulling and it's kinda easy to see who the better parent is.
