(Strip Number 711, Original Publication Date, 21 September 1984)
Panel 1: We find John at the pub discussing the 'baffling' problem of Elly not liking housework with the one man in the world who won't tell him that he's being a jackass: Numb-nuts Momma's Boy Doctor Ted. Since Ted is still pretty much the same bra-snapping Neanderthal he was in high school, he reassures John that Elly's problem is indeed hormones.
Panel 2: He then enrages every competent GP in North America by stating that since Elly is over thirty-five, her 'problem' is really menopause.
Panel 3: The boorish quack then asks John if he's noticed any mood swings and the goggle-eyed ape says that he sort of has.
Panel 4: Piss-ant John whines that it's more like a strong left hook.
Summary: Were someone from Mars to read this, he/she/it would have no choice to assume that they're just giving away medical degrees to all comers up here. Seriously! I've seen more enlightened commentary from Fred and Barney!!!
