(Strip Number 704, Original Publication Date, 12 September 1984)
Panel 1: We start things off with Elly standing on the porch in her housecoat yelling at Michael to get going if he doesn't want to miss the bus. Since Lynn doesn't remember that they shrink things for publication, it looks as if the little window in the front door is growing out of Elly's scalp.
Panel 2: John tells Elly that he'll take Lizzie to playcare and he'll leave her his car.
Panel 3: Now that she's free from the horrible burden of dealing with other people, Elly plops herself in a chair and tries to get Farley to agree that there is nothing a nice as an empty house.
Panel 4: Elly might indeed see an empty house as a good thing but a sighing Farley is feeling bored and alone.
Summary: Yeah, Elly and/or Lynn. Pack animals who need to be in a largish group to feel good about themselves sure do love them some solitude. They don't go nuts when left alone at all at all.
