Facebook: Backlash Ahoy?
On the official Facebook site, yesterday's (Sunday, 8/25/2013) reprint appeared below the following text:
Thanks to everyone who wrote to share an opinion on this strip, which was originally drawn in 1984, and was re-run in the papers this past weekend. Lynn's intention in this case was to illustrate the way young suburban kids in Canada are clueless about the realities of war; she certainly didn't mean to glorify guns or violence, or to insult members of the military.
I guess they must have had unhappy commentary on this one.
