(Strip Number 666, Original Publication Date, 27 July 2013)
Panel 1: We find Elly on the phone talking to someone; when Lizzie comes over and tries to destroy Elly's individuality by making her read her a book, Elly bravely tells her "Not now, Honey...I'm busy."
Panel 2: Elly bravely defends herself against having her identity stripped away by a hateful parasite who eats fulfillment and totally doesn't snap at a child who simply wants to be reassured by saying "Don't bug me, Lizzie! Go outside and find something to do!!"
Panel 3: A few minutes later, we find John and Elly staring at Lizzie who's lying on her bed feeling like something the cat dragged in. Elly doesn't understand why this could be.
Panel 4: After all, with Michael gone, she has her mommy all to herself.
Summary: This is kind of the problem. With Mike present, she can at least expect someone to pay her some damned attention. With Mike gone, all Lizzie has to herself is Elly fleeing from her in horrified, confused disgust.
