Panel 1: As Elly walks downtown, we see her looking in the window of Robert's Fine Jewelry.
Panel 2: As she looks at the ladies' watches, Mr Robert asks her if he can help her.
Panel 3: She says that she's looking for a small digital wristwatch.
Panel 4: Said watch should have a gold-plated case and bracelet. (Or, as we say in English, a gold watch with matching wristband.)
Panel 5: She also wants to make sure that it's of good quality. It should be pretty but also last a few years.
Panel 6: He asks her if it's for someone special.
Panel 7: She says that yes, it is for someone special.
Panel 8: Said special someone is her.
Summary: If we don't get a Little Lynnie show about Merv and Ursula's shop or a diatribe about the cheap junk they sell these days, we're bound to be dealing with a whingefest about how poor Elly has to buy her special things for herself by herself because her selfish, uncaring family is selfish and doesn't care. What it ain't gonna be is a reminder that it's Father's Day. Remember when Mike called it F Day? This time round, it's more like FU Day!!!
