(Strip Number 632, Original Publication Date, 15 June 1984)
Panel 1: Anne complains that they never spend any time together since Elly started working.
Panel 2: Before that, they would have coffee every day and talk.
Panel 3: Now she only sees Elly once in a while.
Panel 4: She then looks Elly in the face and tells her that she misses her.
Summary: While it is sort of sad that Annie depends on Elly Patterson of all people for human contact, what makes it worse is that when she finally catches Steve out in a lie, Elly can't wait to treat her as if she's radioactive. Why, you'd think that she was a bored, lonely housewife who thought that Lynn could put aside her artwork for a while so she could have a chat with her. The people of Lynn Lake and Corbeil should have known better than to try to get Lynn out of her shell.
