(Strip Number 631, Original Publication Date, 14 June 1984)
Panel 1: Later that same day, we find Elly complaining to Anne about having to stay home from work. It seems that with Elizabeth still sick, Elly finds her time at home to be a real chore.
Panel 2: Elly wonders what she did to preserve her sanity when she was stuck home all of the time.
Panel 3: Anne tells her they used to have coffee together.
Summary: Tomorrow, we get a bunch of whining about how Annie misses having someone to talk to because all of the other mothers are disrespecting God and warping their children by working outside the home. Today, we get a passive-aggressive dig at all of the philistine housewives who can't and won't get it through their thick skulls that 'doodling on paper' is how Lynn makes her living.
