(Strip Number 4433, Original Publication Date, 30 May 1984)
Panel 1: We start things off with Elly reminding herself that she guesses that if she makes a few phone calls, she can finish up the project at home.
Panel 2: No sooner does she start than Elizabeth shows up. Elly reminds her that she's sick so should still be in bed.
Panel 3: Since Lizzie is a frightened, sick four year old who doesn't understand much about the world, she has no idea why Elly is horrified when she says "No wanna be in bed! Wanna be with you!"
Panel 4: We find Poor, Put-Upon Elly in Lizzie's room sitting on a kiddie chair for super-martyr bonus points as she thought-bubbles "Here we see the true meaning of the words 'Working Mother!'"
Summary: Five bucks says that the Liz of right-the-Hell-now thinks that the Weird Frenchy Girl also gets sick to eat away her free time; thinking that an inconvenience is part of a plot against her is all she knows so she has to do to Françoise as was done to her.
