We end Elly's Super-Crazy No Way Tag Sale of Success with a reminder that she's so good a salesperson, she can sell people stuff that isn't actually for sale.

(Strip Number 616, Original Publication Date: 24 May 1984)

Panel 1: Now that Elly has stocked up on 'junk' to sell, she tells the assembled strangers that there's half an hour left so they're slashing prices.

Panel 2: Elly holds up a sign saying "YARD SALE" and tells the crowd not to miss the bargooons now that everything is 50% off.

Panel 3: Once the sale ends, Elly breathes a sigh of relief as she reminds Monique that they managed to sell nearly everything.

Panel 4: Elly's good mood collapses faster than a souffle when Mike asks her if anyone has seen his bicycle.

Summary: Great. As if the Super-Crazy Yard Sale of Success wasn't implausible enough, Elly has actually sold things that weren't really for sale. Tune in tomorrow when we find out that John is so stupid, he'll buy something he already owns.
