Dear Everyone
As much fun as picking the strip apart can be and as much genuine fail as there is, there are more and more days when I feel like the bitching goes overboard, some people go out of their way to look for something to bitch about, and it's the same things being said over and over. Elly's a paranoid idiot who can't parent. John's an ignorant blowhard. We all know that, the strip continues to prove that. Point made. The same things are said about Lynn's failings, weaknesses and shortsightedness over and over as well. I honestly wonder sometimes if some people haven't become just a little obsessed with Foobery and pointing up everything that's wrong with it (possibly seeing some things that aren't there in their eagerness to spot wrongs). For these reasons, I'm leaving

I don't know, time-wise, how long I've been here, other than it's been a number of years; a friend pointed me in this direction after Lizard was assaulted and Pornstache whined he no longer had a home, so however long ago that was. It's been long enough and I 'know' a number of you well enough I didn't want to vanish without saying I was leaving and why, and saying that it's been a lot of fun, and I've found the discussions about the strips and the issues they raised interesting and challenging. Thank you.
