Panel 1: It would appear that Michael has made the mistake of asking Elly when it's time to eat. This is because she lectures him about how he and his guests have played games and all the gifts have been opened.
Panel 2: Since she doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that he has a point, Elly adopts the obligatory Pious Frown Of Not Looking At Children™ posture and tells him that she wants them to play quietly while she prepares the food.
Panel 3: Elly is almost bowled over when the kids stampede to the kitchen table.
Panel 4: Horrified Idiot Elly realizes she said "food" to a bunch of growing kids.
Summary: Great. The "I'm too big a deal to look at my children" gesture that makes me wish that someone would come along and punch her in her snotty face and horror when confronted with the bleeding predictable. I sure hope that Elly doesn't have 'thoughts' for this because I do. I think that Elly is too blasted stupid to have been entrusted with children.
