Panel 1: As another busy day ends, we find John and Elly in the washroom brushing their teeth and gargling before going to bed.
Panel 2: As Elly scratches her head, John flushes the commode.
Panel 3: I have no clue why Elly is rubbing her eyes but I have a fair idea of why John is scratching himself.
Panel 4: Elly blows her nose while John puts on a pair of socks.
Panel 5: John asks Elly if she minds if he wears socks to bed because his feet are cold.
Panel 6: John puts his glasses on the night stand and Elly complains that she keeps forgetting to mend the nightgown she's wearing.
Panel 7: As Elly slathers on that stupid face creme, John yawns.
Panel 8: After one of them turns out the light, they bid one another good night.
Panel 9: Elly then calls out John's name; since he tends to fall asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow, his response is a confused-sounding grunt.
Panel 10: Her comment about how she thinks all the glamour has gone out of bedtime is thus probably ill-timed because John is now dead to the world.
Summary: It would be a relief if Lynn had no thoughts today. Who wants to see a complaint about how boring Rod was in bed?
