We end the visit to the library with Elly reminding us that she doesn't trust Michael very much at all.

(Strip Number 583, Original Publication Date, 30 March 1984)

Panel 1: As our story continues, we find Elly telling Susan that she and John had better go; Lizzie is with a neighbour and Mike's home by himself.

Panel 2: She goes on to say that she and John thought that they'd leave Mike home alone to show them how much they trust him.

Panel 3: A baffled Susan says that they've only been there fifteen minutes.

Panel 4: Elly smugly states that that's how long they trust him.

Summary: Tomorrow shows us that he doesn't "deserve" that trust because he continues playing quietly instead of cleaning, cleaning, cleaning like a good little boy should. Also, you can just feel the love in the Johnston household, can't you?
