In today's strip, Michael and Gordon ask a question that most people who live in a Northern climate ask at one point or another: "If February is the shortest month, why does it feel so long?"

(Strip Number 4415, Original Publication Date, 21 February 1984)

Panel 1: We continue on watching the boys trying to find something to do while Elly is 'busy'. As they do so, Gordon tells Mike that he sure wishes Spring would come.

Panel 2: Mike agrees because he too is tired of cold and snow.

Panel 3: He then asks why if February is the shortest month, howcome it feels like the longest?

Summary: I don't really know why. I mean, I can theorize that the colder a person is, the slower time seems to pass by but I'm just spitballing. It probably has to do with the lack of things to do.
