Off Topic: The end of the one-cent coin and its discontents.

Here's something that probably isn't going to mean a lot to most of you but as of tomorrow, the Bank of Canada is going to withdraw the one-cent coin from circulation. What this means as a practical thing is that change is going to be rounded either up or down to the nearest five cents. While this might mean little to most people in this day of debit cards, it would be something horrible and evil if you're someone nice and stupid like Elly. Since she seems to me to be the sort of person who thinks that the fact that six times seven is the same as seven times six is a miracle, I can see her having a meltdown because she thinks that she's getting shortchanged.
