We start the week with Elly and John getting affectionate. When Mike questions this because Valentine's is next week, Lizzie suggests that maybe they're practicing.

Panel 1: We start things off with Elly asking John if she's told him lately just how much she appreciates him.
Panel 2: As Mike looks on in consternation, she tells John that he's thoughtful and understanding before kissing him on the cheek.
Panel 3: As his parents hug, Mike asks Lizzie what they could be doing; after all, Valentine's isn't until next week.
Panel 4: Lizzie says that maybe they're practicing.
Summary: This is a pleasant enough little strip no matter what its source is. Too bad that we're bound to get a Lynnecdote that ruins it.
