Since Lynn is fairly literal-minded, it seems that today's strip would have an anxious Lizzie toss and turn in bed and then come downstairs and ask her parents if it's Christmas morning yet.

(Strip Number 4395, Original Publication Date, 24 December 1983)

Panel 1: It's Christmas Eve night at the Patterson house and one creature at least is stirring; that's because an anxious-looking Lizzie tosses and turns around in bed because she is too keyed-up about whether Santa will come this year to possibly sleep.

Panel 2: Yours truly wishes that Lynn would have put a caption telling us what time it is so we could tell just how anxious Lizzie is when she asks John and Elly "Isn't it morning YET??"

Summary: I also wish that I didn't anticipate a Lynnecdote that was all about how excited Christmas made Lynn. (Well, that and a new-ruin that has Dainty Doll-Boy Mike wonder what happened to the first angel.)
