(Strip Number 12316, Original Publication Date, 22 December 2012)
Panel 1: As our story continues, we find Elly wrapping Christmas presents. Since she's gotten used to the mysterious appearance of pop-art captions every time she does things, she's not distracted them any longer.
Panel 2: John tells her that she sure does put a lot of hard work into wrapping that stuff.
Panel 3: She tells him that this isn't work, it's magic. He asks her what she means by that.
Panel 4: As she holds up a brightly-wrapped box, she explains that she's just turned ordinary packages into gifts.
Summary: Insert a comment about how awful it is that her magic act goes unappreciated and we've got a typical Holiday strip. It's not about the pretty boxes; it's about the empty feeling Elly gets when no one even notices her efforts.
