(Strip Number 4388, Original Publication Date, 29 November 1983)
Panel 1: We find John and Elly at the restaurant. As John starts to tell Elly that she was right about a night to themselves being a good idea, he notices that she's staring intently at one of the other diners and asks her what she's looking at.
Panel 2: She tells him she could swear that the man she's looking at is a man they know named Fred Willis and wonders who he's with.
Panel 3: Since the man's plus-one is a fairly attractive woman, Elly sympathizes with June Willis and wonders if Fred's seeing someone else.
Panel 4: John's leer as he says that Not-June is something else irritates Elly.
Summary: While I know that Elly decides to give this other guy a piece of her mind, you'd think that she'd start with John first. My guess is that Not-June is thinking "I need to take a shower but I don't know why" right about now.
