Panel 1: As our story continues, we join Michael and Lawrence walking to the bus stop. Mike asks Lawrence if he did his homework and Lawrence says that he didn't.
Panel 2: As they join the other children heading to class, Mike tells Lawrence that he's going to get it.
Panel 3: Lawrence says that it's not his fault that he didn't get it done; it's all his mom's fault.
Panel 4: After all, she forgot to nag him about it.
Summary: This is the first instance of one of Lynn's favorite little gags at her children's expense. Every so often, a child will blame his or her own failure to do work on his or her mother because she didn't nag him or her about it like she was 'supposed' to.
