(Strip Number 479, Original Publication Date, 12 October 1983)
Panel 1: We start things off with Elly talking on the phone; she tells Anne that she guesses that she can come over.
Panel 2: When Annie asks her when she can come over, Elly looks in the living room and says "Let's see."
Panel 3: As Lizzie sits far too close to the television, Elly says that it's half past Mister Rogers so she'll be there by a quarter to Sesame Street.
Summary: You can almost guess what the notes are going to be, can't you? It'll be something a lot like "Oh, poor, poor me! You must cry bitter angry tears because my horrible children were so entranced by the eeeeeeevil television that I couldn't say 2 o'clock like an adult and had to say 'Sesame Street' like a child." What she failed to realize is that Mister Rogers is half an hour long.
