We begin the week with a reminder that Mike does not like mushrooms at all. Expect Lynn to either nail herself to her cross or defame a dead woman in the notes.

(Strip Number 477, Original Publication Date, 10 October 1983)

Panel 1: We start things off with Elly carrying a piping-hot casserole dish into the dining room and announcing that it's suppertime.

Panel 2: Mike tells her that he can't eat what she's disguising this time because it's not on his diet. She asks him what diet that would be.

Panel 3: As he looks in horror at a poorly-cooked piece of food, he says "Mushroom-free."

Summary: Given that Elly seems to think that the point of cooking for her family is to trick the offsprings and small ones into eating foods they hate so she can crow about how it didn't kill them, it's very likely that we're in for an installment of the Little Lynnie Show today.
