It's October!
In our part of the planet, people are packing up their garden gnomes and pulling winter coats out from their storage spots. Starting in November, our newsletter will be different! We've been sending news and notes to readers' inboxes every month for quite a few years now, and we've decided it's time to switch things up. Now that Lynn's retired, we don't always have a lot of news to share, but we know you love the monthly features and giveaways and you like hearing from us. So next month you'll still get a note in your mailbox, but it will be an invitation to join us at our News Blog on the website.
We're moving all the cool stuff from this newsletter, like the contest, coupons, photos, and Ojibwe Word of the Month to our News & Notes page where more people can appreciate them. Please visit us there regularly - rather than saving all the news up for one big message, we'll be posting items as they become available. Thanks for your readership for all these years!
Sneak preview of our new Halloween game! Play Monster Match - we created this new Halloween game last month, and we're waiting until mid-October to release it on the website. Our third treasury will not be available for Christmas. The publisher has changed printers, so it will be released in the spring.
Lynn travelled to Vancouver last month to speak and help raise funds for the "Dress for Success" program. Dress for Success is a registered Canadian charity that helps low and no income women to transition into the workforce by providing professional attire. Lynn enjoyed the trip back to her hometown and the opportunity to attend the event and help out!
