(Strip Number 4374, Original Publication Date, 29 September 1983)
Panel 1: As our story continues, we find Elly sitting in a chair relaxing after a busy day of martyrdom and screeching at the children. As John walks by, she reminds him that the children are peaceful enough when they're finally in bed.
Panel 2: She then posits a situation that never occurs while the strip lasts when she asks if he can imagine what it would be like if it were just the two of them living at home.
Panel 3: As he surveys the CHAOS that Lynn has on the cover of the book, he says that he can do so with great difficulty.
Summary: Heh. The treasury began with John making an ass of himself because he wouldn't listen to what Elly thought she was saying and it ends with his being an ass because he can't take it when kids do things he doesn't like. The post-Lynn Lake strips can't come soon enough.
