Panel 1: We start things off with John asking Mike what his new teacher's like. Mike says she's okay and then goes on to say that she's married and has two children.
Panel 2: His explaining that his teacher's name is 'Sheila', that one of her children has a mild learning disability and that they live in an apartment on Fifth Street has John mildly baffled.
Panel 3: So does being told that Sheila's machinist husband has a food allergy and that they've got a blue Chevrolet and yellow budgie.
Panel 4: John thought-bubbles that back when he was a child, teachers didn't even have first names.
Summary: I doubt being told that most children still don't know a lot about their teachers will improve John's mood much. He likes to have his authority figures unapproachable and it shows.
