Panel 1: As Elly gets dressed, her zombified idiot husband yawns and asks where she's going.
Panel 2: Elly tells him that the red sow is about to give birth before asking if he wants to watch too. He mutters a tired "Nah."
Panel 3: She then sets up the punchline (one freaking word, Lynnie) by reminding him that he watched Lizzie being born. He mutters Uh-huh...
Panel 4: He then surprises her by grumbling "An'when you've seen one, you've seen'em all."
Summary: He doesn't surprise me one freaking bit. That's because, unlike Elly, I do a moronic thing called 'remembering the past'; doing so tells me that female reproductive biology makes the same tough guy who threatened a slip of a girl because Elly quit motherhood soil his Depends in sheer terror. It also reminds me that he's put in an insanely hard day of self-imposed labor and is about to endure another day of mind-numbing toil and thus must sleep. The gentleman he can be on very rare occasions is currently comatose leaving the core snarling dorkwad.
