(Strip Number 420, Original Publication Date, 9 June 1983)
Panel 1: We find ourselves watching Mike, Lawrence and Gordo sitting under a tree; Gordon can hardly believe that school is out for the year.
Panel 2: Mike is glad that he doesn't have homework and no longer has to get up on time, Lawrence is grateful for the lack of teachers and detentions and Gordo is grateful dames aren't going to show up and mess with him.
Panel 3: Suddenly, Mike stands up and asks why they're sitting around. They gotta get up an'DO something.
Panel 4: After all, they only got eight weeks left.
Summary: This is meant to be 'funny' because time is supposedly on children's sides. This is also sort of sad because Mike doesn't know that he's staring down the barrel of having to waste his precious youth at a farm so that he can meet old people who'll bitch because he's not cravenly grateful to be told what a selfish, lazy little boy he is and be exposed to the hard work his parents think that he needs so that his attitude can be adjusted.
