In today's strip, we find ourselves watching Elly deliver the sort of line Ursula used on Lynn growing up. Since it's what a normal person would say when faced with Janice/Little Lynnie's behaviour, it's kind of difficult to sympathize with her whining about having a difficult childhood.

(Strip Number 4334, Original Publication Date, 3 June 1983)

Panel 1: Now that she's more or less got a YIPE-ing Farley cornered, Janice yells a triumphant KOWABUNGA!! as she presses home the attack.

Panel 2: Mike and Lawrence stand there like robots as she reaches into the space Farley's cowering in; since they're stupid and useless, they know that her "Come out and fight, dragon!!" means "Come out and get pulverized by a vicious loon!!" but they're too gutless to do squat about it.

Panel 3: Fortunately Elly arrives to ask what they're doing to the poor dog as well as to tell them to put the trash can lids back (before raccoons feast on household waste) and that they should be ashamed of themselves for this.

Panel 4: Since Janice is the same sort of unrepentant little heathen the maniac drawing this is, she reacts to reasonable behavior by stage-whispering "Speaking of dragons..." in Lawrence's ear.

Summary: The notes, of course, will be all about how unfaaaaaaaaaaaaair and cruuuuel and out of line Ursula was for punishing her for some of those 'daring exploits'.
