We start the week with a reminder that despite what Lynn might think, Mike didn't spend his childhood building a shrine to Deanna. He was actually a dirt-ordinary little boy who wanted to prove that he was a rough, tough, he-man woman hater.

(Strip Number 412, Original Publication Date, 30 May 1983)

Panel 1: We find Mike and Lawrence sitting in what I think is the schoolyard; Mike asks Lawrence what being in love is really like.

Panel 2: Lawrence says that his mom says that you sort of get butterflies in your stomach.

Panel 3: He also allows as how you also get kinda goofy-like inside before asking if Mike is in love. Mike says that no, he isn't.

Panel 4: He wants to know what to avoid.

Summary: This is a rather bland, ordinary strip about two small boys talking like two small boys who have had their dialogue written by a woman in her thirties who never really understood how small boys talk. Other than the fact that boys don't really talk like this, I have no problem with it.
