(Strip Number 399, Original Publication Date, 6 May 1983)
Panel 1: We find John looking flabbergasted at Mike and asking how he, Gordo and Lawrence broke the cart that he'd just built.
Panel 2: Since I think that Lynn might be going to write about how awful it was that Aaron was so destructive, Michael allows as they'd simply wiped out.
Panel 3: Since John wanted to make an ugly spectacle of himself for years to come by tooling around on the ridiculous thing, he fulminates that when he was eight and living in a town with a street grid that consisted of ninety-degree angles and gentle slopes instead of the twisty streets that loop back on themselves because they're on steep hills that you find in almost every suburb, it would have lasted three years.
Panel 4: Mike astonishes him by replying with the age-inappropriate comeback about how they don't make stuff like they used to.
Summary: The Lynnsight is going to be about how Alan cannibalized a baby-carriage Ursula probably intended to give to Lynn in order to build his own defective, fragile piece of crap vehicle and thus has nothing to do with the message her fans will have gotten about how destructive and ungrateful Mike is.
