Since Lynn seems to be trying to follow the order that the strips appear in the treasury, we've wound seeing what I thought we were going to see last Monday. That's because we start the 'John gets martyred because he has to help his son when it isn't fun' arc with Mike eating two of the chocolate bars he's supposed to sell for a school fundraiser.

(Strip Number 385, Original Publication Date, 11 April 1983)
Panel 1: We start things off with Mike telling Elly to look because the chocolate bars that he gets to sell to raise money for the school came.

Panel 2: Having counted the bars, she tells a guilty looking Mike that two of them are missing.

Panel 3: He knows. He, uh, he ate them.

Panel 4: He tries getting out of trouble by pointing out that they're HIS, aren't they?

Summary: The Lynnsight is all about how this is the truth. This really happened. Aaron had to sell chocolates and he ate them. This is also about Elly having to give the school the four bucks that disappeared down a throat that has to wait hours and hours to see what Mom is trying to trick him into eating this time.
