(Strip Number 6106, Original Publication Date, 17 April 1983)
Panel 1: We start things off with Mike yelling "Cut it out" at Lizzie; what she's supposed to cut out is sitting in between him and the television set.
Panel 2: Since she insists on being an obstruction, he yells for her to move.
Panel 3: The strip that most of Kool-Aid Nation will read starts with Mike telling MA!!!!! that ev'ry time he tries an'watch TV, Lizzie puts her head where he's watchin'.
Panel 4: He then says that no matter where he sits, all he gets to see is the back of her head.
Panel 5: Instead of doing what one would expect of her and yelling about how he should be nicer to Lizzie, Elly picks her up and tells her that Mommy will find Lizzie something else to do.
Panel 6: As Elly walks away, a relieved Mike says "Thank goodness."
Panel 7: He then says that he wasn't sure that Elly was actually gonna believe him.
Panel 8: Elly says that of course she believes him.
Panel 9: She then smiles a smile so full of hate it hurts and thought-bubbles about how it's the same sort of thing she used to do to Phil.
Summary: Since Elly and Lynn are sort of stupid, they don't really realize how nasty this sort of thing makes them look. When questioned, both make pious noise about this sort of crap being the Way Things Are.
