We end the week with Elly being mildly bemused by the fact that her children don't like her crappy cooking despite her being very sincere.
(Strip Number 383, Original Publication Date, 2 April 1983)
Panel 1: We start things off with a delighted Mike holding an egg carton and telling Lizzie that John promised that they can color two dozen eggs this year.
Panel 2: John tells Elly that they sure get excited about doing so.
Panel 3: As she looks through her copy of The Inventive Cook, she smiles wistfully and wishes that they were that excited about eating them.
Summary: The notes will probably be either about how Lynn's mother couldn't be asked to cook eggs in a way small children could eat or about how Katie and Aaron didn't like gore-may cookin', the ungrateful snots.
