(Strip Number 6014, Original Publication Date, 6 April 1983)
Panel 1: Ted tries to get John to admit that he'd also like to be free.
Panel 2: He then asks him to imagine himself going anywhere, doing anything he liked and dating a different girl each week.
Panel 3: John is flabbergasted by this. He tells Ted that that'd mean fifty-two girls a year.
Panel 4: He had a hard enough time finding the one he married so he sees no way for this to work. Ted's having to remember that he's pals with a homebody irritates him.
Summary: Again, Ted's 'villainy' begins and ends with not wanting to put a ring on it and give the "desperate" women of the world "respect and affection" (i.e. a husband to yell at and cower behind) they deserve.
