Panel 2: Lizzie tell Momma a man. Lizzie telled him Momma was inna baff tub.
Panel 3: Lizzie telled him that Momma was all wet. Lizzie telled him that Momma gots no clothes on an'to come back in free days. Momma's face has gots the Bug-eyed Glare of Existential Horror on it.
Panel 4: Elly, who's still reeling from being humiliated forever, says that she needs a new answering service.
Summary: Wanna bet that Elly is still upset about this and still holds it against Elizabeth? This is not a woman that likes to let go of the past because her gripes are her favorite children. A less insane person would smile when she said the punchline because she'd know "Well, I set myself up for that." Elly is still to this day pissed because not only did Lizzie embarrass her, her failure to talk older than she is means that Elly has to wait to take a bath and that's just awful.
