Panel 1: We start things off with Mike GLUG-GLUG-GULPing down a glass of apple juice.
Panel 2: As he holds it in his hand, he smiles for some reason.
Panel 3: Said reason is to suck the air out of it with a mighty fweep-fweep-fweep.
Panel 4: Having done so, he thought-bubbles that he has there a perfect example of what's known as the 'vacuum'.
Panel 5: As we, the readers, can see, the glass is securely fastened to his face.
Panel 6: Also, there is no way that the liquid can escape as long as the vacuum holds.
Panel 7: The vacuum is released when a loud voice hollers Mike's name off panel; also, Mike looks as if he's been hit with a two-by-four.
Panel 8: Elly's face is frozen in the Gorey-Eyed Frown Of Implacable Rage™ as she snarls "How many times have I told you not to play like that with your glass?!"
Panel 9: As Poor, Put-Upon Elly cleans up the apple juice Evil Mike spilled because he was opposing society and ruining her life forEEEEEEEEEver and totally not the apple juice her blameless son spilled because his fractious nitwit of a mother blew her stack because she's a short-tempered dumbass who's all smug about not falling for this new-fangled thing called 'letting children explain what they're doing', Mike thought-bubbles that his problem is that mothers don't appreciate science.
