Panel 1: Phil tells Elly that he can hardly see past all the carrots his roommates have stuffed in their fridge.
Panel 2: He then grumbles about the hardship of being an omnivore in a vegetarian's world like the over-privileged dumb-ass of a Richards he is.
Panel 3: He furthers his resemblance to Elly by totally losing his shit when he discovers that they threw his hot dogs out sight unseen. As I said yesterday, we don't know how long they're been in there so we can't actually judge them as harshly as he does.
Panel 4: I've got a bit of a temper myself but even at my worst, I would like to hope that my first reaction to a situation like thus would not be baying at the moon about calling the Human Rights Commission because I was being illegaly discriminated against like The Humble Troubadour is doing.
Summary: Manfred Man, what an idiot!! The slightest hint that he might have to adapt to changing circumstances or accommodate other people and he totally freaks out. It's like watching Michael sulk because he's got to meet people half-way. This tendency to not want to eat his green beans and inability to listen to people gets him in trouble with Georgia later on when he makes a disaster of their move because he tuned out her suggestions 'cause he's the dude.
